IWC Full Masters Scholarships for Australian and International Students, 2017
Applications are invited for IWC scholarships available for high-calibre international and domestic candidates. Scholarships are available for pursuing the master degree at the University of Queensland.
The IWC Masters Scholarships are prestigious scholarships awarded annually to high calibre candidates who clearly demonstrate potential to become future water leaders.
The International Water Centre (IWC) provides education and training, applied research and knowledge services to implement a whole-of-water cycle approach and develop capacity in integrated water resource management.
International candidates must also demonstrate English Language Proficiency. A proof of English language proficiency needs to be uploaded with the online application form.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing a master degree at the University of Queensland.
Study Subject(s): Scholarships support students enrolled in the Master of Integrated Water Management (MIWM) program.
Scholarship Award: A. Full tuition and full living costs scholarships for international students (up to two available): Each is valued at approximately AU$ 89,811 and covers the following expenses:

Full tuition fees for full-time study of the IWC Master of Integrated Water Management program commencing in 2016 (valued at AU$ 49,920 over 18 months).

Overseas Student Health Cover (valued at AU$ 856 for 18 months)

Cost of student visa for a single student (valued at AU$ 535)

Return air travel to Australia (single return, economy class airfare to and from Australia, via the most direct route up to a maximum of AU$ 2,500)

Living expenses stipend (valued at AU 36,000 for 16 months) payable in equal monthly instalments.
Important- Scholarships do not cover travel costs and some of the expenses will have to be paid upfront by successful recipients.

IWC Full-tuition Scholarships for domestic students (up to two available): These scholarships are funded by IWC. Each is valued at approximately AU$ 49,920 and covers Full tuition fees for full-time for full-time study (1.5 years) or part-time/distance study (3 years) of the IWC Master of Integrated Water Management program commencing in 2016.

Eligibility: Scholarships are available to high calibre international and domestic candidates to study the Master of Integrated Water Management (MIWM) program. All applicants must meet the minimum eligibility requirements outlined below.
-A completed undergraduate degree in a related field of study from an internationally-recognised institution
-At least two years of professional experience (paid work or volunteering experience) relevant to the program and following completion of an undergraduate degree. Although not essential for entry in the MIWM program, candidates with relevant professional experience have a higher chance of securing a scholarship.
-International students must also demonstrate English language proficiency.

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree in a related field of study from an internationally-recognised institution and at least two years of professional experience (paid work or volunteering experience) relevant to the program.
Test Requirement: No
English Language Requirements: International candidates must also demonstrate English Language Proficiency. A proof of English language proficiency needs to be uploaded with the online application form.
